Disabled Persons Assembly, The Deaf Society and EGL Disabled Core Group would like you to join us for a community kōrero where candidates will share their vision and priorities and hear directly from disabled people, whānau, and allies. Each candidate will give a short opening statement, followed by a facilitated discussion and Q&A. Come along, listen, speak up, and be part of this important conversation.
This is a chance to ask questions, raise the issues that matter most, and help shape the future of our city.
Doors open at 9.45am ready for a 10am start. Light Refreshments provided afterwards and informal chat with the candidates. Parking available and NZSL Interpreters will be onsite. Please advise of dietary requirements
Please RSVP by 28th August for catering purposes to Kaituitui.ootautahi@dpa.org.nz or admin@deafsocietyofcanterbury.co.nz and let us know any dietary requirements.
Ngā mihi, DPA Christchurch, Deaf Society, and Enabling Good Lives Disabled Core Group
