This community event is all about making meaningful connections — bringing together job seekers with disabled people and their family/whānau who are looking for great people to support them or their loved ones to live their best life.

Summer can be a tricky time for recruitment, while many families and disabled people need extra support during this period. Quick Connections bridges that gap.

Whether you’re an employer looking for the right match or a job seeker wanting to make a difference, this is your chance to meet face-to-face, have real conversations, and see what’s possible.

What this event is about

Quick Connections is designed to connect:

• Disabled people who are employers

• Family/whānau of disabled people who are employers

• Job seekers who are interested in supporting or mentoring disabled people as they live their good life

Roles available may be temporary or permanent, part-time or full-time.

This event provides an opportunity to meet potential matches, share what you’re looking for, and start building relationships based on the Enabling Good Lives (EGL )Principles including: self-determination, relationship building, and person-centred support.
